OK. Jenze me jde o rozmery chipu. a taky o sinchronizaci. pokud by chip mel treba jen 1x1mm tak by stred chipu byl o takt napred nez okraj. Tohle se uz resilo pred par lety (myslim ze prvni tyhle problemy mel Compaq s Alphou), mezitim se velikosti tranzistoru nekolikrat zmensili, ale ne tolikrat o kolik je vetsi frekvence.JardaM píše:- tedy vzhledem k tomu, že se tyhle věcí dělají cca 60 nm technologií, tedy asi 100 000 krát jemněji. Nejedná se o procesor, ale jen o jediný tranzistor, což je celkem rozdíl. Jak už tu někdo psal, v takové to rychlosti by se celý procesor musel vejít do necelého milimetru, což je prakticky nemožné. Pokud by totiž byl delší, elektrický náboj by nedokázal tak rychle procházet od jednoho konce k druhému a celé by se to desynchronizovalo. Budoucnost vidím spíše v masivní paralelizaci, použití vektorových procesorů, jemnější technologie (prý se dá jít až někam k 29 nm, no, ještě se uvidí...Mates77 píše:IBM přetaktovala procesor na 0,5 THz

Nejsem konstruktér mikroobvodů, ale tranzistory ze dvou stran chipu spolu nemají co komunikovat. Ono je tam totiž v tom 1 mm2 kromě procesní jednotky ještě spousta dalších udělátek, jen pro začátek L1 cache (= cca 30 kB = cca 240 k tranzistorů), L2 cache (dnes 2 MB, což je nejméně 16mil. tranzistorů), atd. Pak už jde o synchronizaci menších bloků, a jestli se nepletu, mluví se spíš o latenci, tedy o době, za jak dlouho dostane např. ALU odpověď..... Pád meteoritu - simulace. Je to sice japonsky, ale i tak je to dost názorné. Pokud jsem rozpoznal, ukazovali následky na Japonsko, JV Asii, pak na Amazonii, a na Řecko.

No, problem je v tom, ze japoncici v tom komentari nehovoria presne aky bol priemer asteroidu - hovoria iba, ze priemer asteroidu je priblizne ako sirka ostrova Honshu. A ta je cca 230 km, i ked na niektorych miestach je uzsi. Takze kvoli tomu tie nezrovnalosti, mozno ze New Scientist ma informaciu, ktora v tom komentari nie je, v tom pripade je ich udaj presnejsi.
